Once your design is finalised and you’re happy with the quote, we arrange a convenient installation date. We’ll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule.
2. Pre-Installation Preparation
Before arriving: clear the area under the stairs (if possible), remove any personal items, and give our team access to the staircase area. If you have existing fixtures — like a radiator, boiler, meter boxing or pipes — tell us in advance. We’ll plan the new unit around these, ensuring everything remains accessible.
3. Professional Installation
Our experienced installers arrive prepared and get to work. Most standard under-stairs storage jobs are completed in one day — from fitting frames and carcasses to final finishing (doors, drawers, handles, soft-close mechanisms, etc.). For larger or more complex designs (e.g. extensive shelving, custom pantries, integrated lighting), the installation may take a bit longer — but we’ll always provide a clear timeframe.
4. Finishing Touches & Quality Check
After installation, we take time to ensure everything works perfectly: drawers glide smoothly, doors open and close correctly, and all joinery is secure. We tidy up thoroughly, leaving your home as we found it — but with beautiful, functional storage in place.
5. Handover & Care Instructions
We walk you through your new storage, showing you how to use any special features (like soft-close drawers, pull-out shelving, pet nooks, etc.) and giving you guidance on care and maintenance.
